Marketing 101: “Riches in Niches… and Subcultures”

At just about every Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle Local Chapter meeting, we present what I call the “3.5 BIG Money-making Ideas” that I extract from each month’s “No BS Marketing Letter”, which we get mailed to us monthly for being members of GKIC.

In the August ’08 local chapter meeting we discussed “Marketing 101: Riches in Niches… and Subcultures.”  If you weren’t at that meeting, well, here they are for you:

Marketing 101 – Checklist for Deadlines

At just about every Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle Local Chapter meeting, we present what I call the “3.5 BIG Money-making Ideas” that I extract from each month’s “No BS Marketing Letter”, which we get mailed to us monthly for being members of GKIC.

Within the newsletter is a section called “Marketing 101: Back to the Basics.” It usually covers some fundamentals of direct marketing that most people either don’t know – or – need reminding of.

In the February ’09 local chapter meeting we discussed “Marketing 101: Checklist for Deadlines.”  If you weren’t at that meeting, well, here they are for you: Continue reading

How is Business? (Really!)

Whether you’re a member of Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle or if you’ve only attended one of our local chapter meetings, let me ask you specifically how you’ve benefited from your association with GKIC… and this paraphrased from Dan in our January ‘08 chapter meeting:

“Have you made more money this year than last?” If not, why not?

“Have you attracted more new customers or clients this year than last?” If not, Continue reading

If you haven’t attended a Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle Local Chapter Meeting yet, I can only guess that you are a MULTI-millionaire entrepreneur who doesn’t need to learn any new strategies to make yourself even more wealthy.

Am I right?

Of course, at a recent chapter meeting we discussed Continue reading

“Smart Bomb Selling”

Here’s an article that I first saw in Success Magazine with my teacher and mentor Dan Kennedy back in the 90’s. It’s instructional because it talks about the benefits of direct response marketing vs. cold calling and “push” selling.

Enjoy! – “No BS” Craig

“Do You Hate Networking?”

I found this article in one of my folders on my laptop. I’ve had it for quite a while and unfortunately don’t remember where I got it. However, whoever wrote it wants you to benefit from it too. See what you think. – cv

Do You Hate Networking?

When I got married a little over 4 years ago I slowed down my networking activities to a crawl. I went to one or two business-related meetings a month but finally I even Continue reading

Good Video: “You want something. Go get it! Period.”

Here’s a great video I found (courtesy of my friend Ramon at http://StreetSmartSolutionProvider.com) from the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” with Will Smith and his son.

This scene is during a time when they’re homeless and his son just wants to shoot some baskets. He talks about being a basketball star when he gets older. Then, Will’s character, because he’s feeling down and out, says some harsh words that discourage him from his dreams.

After a few moments of reflection, Will realizes what he said and tells his son, “……..”

Ok. Just watch the video. 🙂 Continue reading

At the April 2008 meeting I picked great BIG Idea from Bill Glazer. In the newsletter he mentioned that he’s noticed among his successful friends a few common habits. Here they are and the way I presented them at the chapter meeting: Continue reading
